Over The Top

I got new makeup for Christmas (ofcourse) so on Christmas day I couldn't make a decision on which ones I wanted to wear, so I kind of threw on a lot of them, but it worked out really pretty!

For my eyes I started out with a taupe cream eyeshadow all over my lid then over that I put a shimmery taupe color over that, then I took a medium matte brown color in my crease, I put a matte cream color on my brow highlight, on my outer corner I put a shimmery dark golden brown, then right on the very outer corner I put a matte black, the final color on my lower lashline I put a shimmery red brown, I put a matte dark brown eyeliner on my bottom waterline. Then I lined my top lashline with black liquid liner and lots of mascara.

For my cheeks, I used a light shimmery bronzer and a medium peach blush, then I put a golden highlight on the tops of my cheekbones. For my lips, I used a a hot pink lip stain.

Oxblood Lips

The lips in this look is really dramatic, so I kept the rest of the make up simple. Oxblood is a really huge color this season and putting it on the lips is a really great and simple way to pull them off!

For the eyes I kept things very simple and neutral, I put a shimmery nude all over my entire eye, then I took a matte light brown in my crease, on my outer corner and lower lashline I put a dark shimmery purple brown. Then I lined my top lashline with black liquid liner and finished the eyes with lots of mascara.

For my cheeks I did my normal everyday matte bronzer and I put a matte rose on the apples of my cheeks and blended it back. For the lips, I took a red lip liner and filled in my entire lip over that I took a very dark wine and blended the two colors together to get this color.

Pretty in Pink

Last week I went thrifting and I found this really pretty pink and white striped sweater, and it inspired me to do a really soft feminine look. So, without further ado, here it is!

For my eyes I started with a shimmery pink color all over my lid, then I took a light shimmery brown and blended that through my crease, for my brow bone I used a shimmery golden white color, then I took a shimmery purple color and put that on my lower lashline then to break up the texture and add dimension to the look I took a a dark purple brown on the very outer corner of my eyes and half way on my lower lashline. I finished with a black liquid liner on my top lashline only and lots of mascara on my top and bottom lashes!

For my cheeks I did my normal combo of a matte bronzer and a peachy pink blush, but then I added a golden white highlight to the tops of my cheekbones.

For my lips I lined them with a natural colored lip liner and top that with a matte baby pink lipstick.

Dramatic Christmas Look

Red lips seem to be a staple for a Christmas look, it's normally paired with with a golden eye but I wanted to add a little more drama, so I did a brown smokey eye. Two bold looks can go well together if you can balance them and keep everything else simple.

For my eyes I started with a matte creamy nude color from my lid to my browbone, then a took a matte medium brown and put it in my blended it through my crease, then I took a dark purple-y brown and put it on my outer corner blended it through my crease and on my lower lashline. I lined my top lashline with a black liquid liner, then I put a black kohl liner on my lower waterline, then I just added mascara to finish the look.

For my cheeks, I used a matte bronzer to contour my cheeks a bit, then I put a light shimmery peachy pink on the apples of my cheeks and blended it out. For my lips I lined my lips with a red lip liner and put a matte red lipstick on.

I really love this look, it's really my favorite kind of look to wear it makes a statement but it's subtle.

Warm Purple.

I love the color purple on blue eyes, it really makes them stand out, the thing is for me is I hardly ever put anything other than a neutral color on my eyes. So, to make this work I used a warm purple color and purple toned neutral colors to ease me into the more colorful side of eye makeup.

I started the eyes with a pink-y champagne color from my lid to browbone, then I put a warm shimmery purple in my crease and blended it out and then I smudged the same color on my lower lashline, on my outer corner I took a dark purple toned brown and I also smudged that on my lower lashline over the purple. I lined my top lashline with black liquid liner and put a black gel liner on my lower waterliner, I finished the look with mascara on top and bottom lashes.

For my cheeks I used my go to bronzer and switched up my blush to some a little more peachy. On my lips I lined my lips with a natural colored lip liner and then went over that with a hot pink lipstick.
