Warm Golden Brown Smoky Eye

Hi everyone. So, it's been awhile. It's been a really hard month, mid way through May my dog that I've had since I was 10 passed away, so I haven't really felt like posting anything here lately, but I did a look yesterday that I finally felt was good enough to put on my blog. Let's get into it.

For my eyes I started with a matte Ivory all over my crease all the way up to my brow bone, then I used a Bronze cream eyeshadow stick on my lid as a base, then over that I swept a warm Brown that has a Gold shimmery running through it on a damp brush to intensify the color, I also blended that color along my lower lash line, I blended the lid color out with a matte Pink-Brown, then to deepen the crease I used a matte Brown, I highlighted my inner corner with a very shimmery Beige, I lined my tightline and my waterline with a Black kohl liner, I lined my top lashline with Black liquid liner and did a slight cat eye, I finished off the eyes with Black mascara on top and bottom lashes.

For my face, since it's getting to be summer my body always get a tan, wanted or not, I kind of have to bronze my face and neck a bit, to do that I used a kind of shimmery bronzer, I contoured my cheeks slightly and blended a shimmery soft Peachy Pink on the apples of my cheeks back towards my hair line, for my highlight I used the same color that I used on my inner corner to highlight the high points of my face. For my lips I kept it really simple and used a matte Wine that lends more to the Pink side of things.
