Hidden Gold

Wow, have I been busy lately! The other night I was watching a tutorial for a pop of color eyeliner look, and needless to say that it inspired me, now I don't have any out there colors when it comes to eyeliner, but I know that Gold was pretty big not too long ago so that's what I went with.

For my eyes I started out with a  matte Yellow toned Cream colored shadow all over my lid, for my crease I mixed a satin finished Beige and a matte Brown and then blended that into the crease, for my brow and inner corner highlight I used a shimmery White that has a Golden undertone to it, along a my lower lashline I used that same matte Brown that I used in my crease, then I lined my top lashline with a Gold gel liner, you want to make sure that this line is rather thick so you'll still be able to see it once you put on the Black liquid liner which is the next step, for this I did a thin line very close to my lashline and winged it out slightly, I tightlined with a Black kohl liner and my waterline with a Nude kohl liner, I finished the eyes with lots of Black mascara.

For the face I used a shimmery Bronzer all over too warm up the over all look, for my blush I used a shimmery Pink- Coral on the apples of my cheeks blended back towards my temples, for the highlight I used a loose eyeshadow in a off White on the high points of my face. For my lips I lined them with a clear lip liner so that the bold lipstick wouldn't feather and bleed then I used a matte dark Berry lipstick because who needs seasonal dictation when it comes to nail polish and lipstick in my personal opinion.
