Smokey Mountain Taupe

Sometimes I forget how much I love darker eyeshadow looks. This was really simple, because let's face it, that's kind of my thing.

For my eyes I started out with a matte taupe cream shadow all over my lid, then over that I swept a shimmery taupe, then I went to my brow highlight and patted a matte cream/nude colored shadow, in my crease I blended the lid and highlight with a matte light brown, I also took the shimmery taupe on the lower lashline, in my inner corner I placed a shimmery golden white, I lined my top lashline only with black liquid liner, then I used a black eyeliner pencil on my lower waterline, to finish the eyes I used plenty of black mascara on top and bottom lashes.

For my faced I started out with my favorite matte bronzer swept on the high points of my face and sort of under my cheeks, not really contouring them, for my blush I swept a matte rose on the apples of my cheeks and blended it back towards my temples but not quite reaching them, then since a lot of this look is matte I wanted to liven it up a bit so I highlighted the tops of my cheeks and the tops of my brows with a shimmery white highlighter. For my lips I used a cream finished blue toned light pink lipstick.
