Still Waters

Staying on this color kick, I wanted to something that was really Summery! This is a really simple look just a little blending on the lid!

For my eyes I started with a shimmery white color all over the lid, I also took what was left on the brush on my brow bone, then I took a matte light warm brown and blended that through the crease, then on my outer corner I patted a shimmery bright blue and blended it into the white, on my lower lash line I put a matte dark brown. Then I lined my top lashline with a black liquid liner, I lined my lower waterline with a nude colored pencil and finished with mascara.

For my cheeks I blended a bronzer on the high points of my face, then I took a matte bronzer and contoured my cheeks, then I took shimmery pink-coral and blended that onto my cheeks and took a highlighter to the tops of my cheeks. For my lips I used a light pink so that my lips wouldn't compete with the eyes.

Hidden Green

I've been dabbling in color lately, slowly though. It's really out of my comfort zone to put anything but brown tones on my eyes.

For my eyes, I started with a shimmery beige base on my lid and brow bone then I took a shimmery white and put it over top of the base, then I took a matte warm medium brown and blended that through my crease, I took a shimmery dark green on my outer corner and lower lashline, then I lined my top lashline with black liquid liner and on my lower lashline I put a matte dark brown liner, I finished the eyes with black mascara.

For my cheeks I started out with a shimmery warm bronzer and put it on all the parts of my face the Sun would naturally hit, then I took a matte bronzer and contoured my cheeks, then I took a peach blush and blended it on the apples on my cheeks and blended it back, then I highlighted the high points of my face with my favorite highlighter. For my lips I took and everyday light pink, so as not to over power the rest of the look.

Rose Gold

I think the entire world knows how popular rose gold is right now, I mean it's everywhere! This is a great everyday look, it's light and easy plus it looks gorgeous.

First I started with a beige shimmery base on my lid and browbone, then over that I took a rose gold color and put that on my lid, in my crease I took a pinky beige color and blended it out, then I took a medium brown color and smudged it on my lower lashline, then I finished the look with a winged eyeliner and mascara.

For my cheeks I used my normal matte bronzer to bronze and contour, then I took a matte golden pink color and put that on the apples of my cheeks and blended it back, then I put a golden highlighter on the high points of my face. For my lips I used a cream finish baby pink.

20's Inspired

I, like the rest of the world, have been inspired by The Great Gatsby. The looks in this movie are beautiful! I personally went with a more matte look than what they did in the movie, but that's just how was feeling yesterday, and by matte I mean there was no shimmer on my face at all.

Okay, for my eyes, I started with a matte nude color from my lid to my brow, then I took a matte pink beige and blended that through my crease, on my outer corner, lower lashline and blended into my crease I used a matte black, since it's 20's inspired I pulled down the black instead blending it up, since back then they loved the droopy bedroom eyes. I finished the eyes with liquid liner and mascara.

For my cheeks, I used a matte bronzer to contour the cheeks, then I took a matte medium pink and put that on the apples of my cheeks and blended it back a little. For my lips I lined and  them in with a red lip liner, then over top of that I took a burgundy on a lip brush and blended it over the lip liner.

Pop It!

The other day I wanted to have a little fun with my makeup, I loved the contrasting colors between my lips and my eyes. It's really an easy look, the only difficult thing I would say is the winged liquid liner, but with practice you'll get it.

I started out with a shimmery beige base on my lid and browbone, then I took a very shimmery golden white color and put it on my lid, and swept what was left on the brush on my brow highlight, then I took a shimmery taupe color and swept that through my crease, I took a black liquid liner and winged it out, on my lower lashline I took a shimmery blue/purple duo tone shadow and line under the wing as well, I finished the eyes with plenty of mascara.

Lately I've been loving bronzer, so I mixed two from a palettte I have and swept it along the high points of my face, then I took a matte bronzer and contoured my cheeks, I took a shimmery peachy pink blush on the apples of cheeks and blended it back. For my lips I kept it matte since the rest of the look is quite shimmery, I lined and filled in my entire lips and went over it with a matte bright red.
