Nude Smokey Eye

I recently fallen in love with an eyeshadow that I've had forever but that I've never really paid too much attention to. It's a simple color really a glittery nude color that doesn't seem that special, but my goodness, it looks spectacular on!

For my eyes I put the glittery nude all over my lid and browbone, I took a matte light brown through the crease and blended it out, then I took a black with gold shimmer on my outer corner and lower lashline to create a contrast and bring more attention to the eyes. I lined my top lashline with black liquid liner and mascara on my top and bottom lashes to finish the eyes.

For my cheeks I used my favorite matte bronzer and a medium shimmery golden peach color. For my lips I used a everyday cream finish rose color.

Berry Stained Lips

For this look I mixed it up a bit and did something on my lips different than what I would normally do. Now you know I'm all about the really bold lip, but for this look I wanted something softer, my whole look over all yesterday was softer and I guess by that fact it was rather feminine. I really loved this over all look!

For my eyes, I started out with a pink champagne color all over my lid and took it into my inner corner, then I took a basic light brown and blended it into my crease, then I took a dark shimmery purple-y brown on my outer corner, blended it into my crease, and smudged it along my lower lashline, on my browbone I put a matte pink-y nude color.
I lined my top lashline with black liquid liner, and put a black kohl liner in the outer half of my waterline. I finished off the eyes with mascara on my top and bottom lashes.

On my cheeks I used my normal matte bronzer to contour just a little, for my blush I used a shimmery berry color and since my blush had shimmer in it I decided to forgo highlighter. For my lips I took a hot red-pink on just the center of my lips and took a q-tip to blend the color out, making it look like I had just eaten a cherry popsicle.

The look front on.

My Birthday Makeup

Today is my 20th birthday! YAY! I'm keeping my makeup simple because I don't think we're going anywhere today, but I also wanted to do something special since it's my birthday, ya know?

For my eyes I used a warm taupe on my lid and lower lashline, I put a shimmery light beige brown for my crease, I put a dark shimmery cocoa brown on my outer corner, I put a shimmery white in my inner corner
and on my browbone. I lined my top lashline with black liquid liner and finished with mascara.

For my cheeks, I used my everyday bronzer, but today for blush I used a light berry pink. On my lips I put my rose colored Avon lip balm.

Golden Leaves

I seriously missed doing golden eyes, I haven't done one in at least two months. Last night I went into work so it had to be subtle, also I wanted to play up my eyes since I tried something new with my hair. Anyways here's the look.

First of all, I'd like to say sorry about the flash on my camera, it is truly annoying. Anyhoo! On my lid I swept a dark gold and on my lower lashline, then I took a bronze and blended it into my crease, then I put it on my outer corner, and on my lower lashline as well. I put a satin finish nude color on my browbone, and a light peachy gold in my inner corner.  I lined my top lashline with black liquid liner, and put a brown kohl liner in my waterline, I finished with a waterproof mascara.

On my face I kept it simple since the eyes are pretty dramatic. I contoured with a matte bronzer, and put a light berry colored blush on the cheeks. On my lips I used a rose tinted lip balm.

I hope you like the look, I really love doing gold looks on my eyes, I think it really makes my eyes stand out!

October Favorites!

Here are my beauty favorites for the month!

This is the "Top Ten Eyeshadow Collection" in "Naturally Gorgeous" by Hard Candy: As you can see these are really pigmented eyeshadows! This is the palette I have been using almost every time I'm wearing makeup. They stay all day with my ELF Primer underneath, which is great for my job, and for only $6 you can't beat it.

Revelon Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner in "Blackest Black": I absolutely love this stuff, I've worn it for 12+ hours and it doesn't move, you know unless you're rubbing your eye all day. Again and since I have a job now this is what I'm turning to everyday. It has a felt tip which makes a winged eyeliner super easy!

Maybelline The Falsies: Flared Waterproof in "Blackest Black": Again I needed a mascara that was gonna last all day and not run or fade on me throughout the day that wasn't gonna cost me an arm and a leg. This stuff really stays, but when you're ready to take it off all you need is a simple cream or oil based makeup remover.

Can I just say how much I love bold lips? Obviously.

NYX Lip Liner in "Hot Red":  I've had this for months, it's one of those products that I'll always need to have since I wear red lipstick so much.

Rimmel Lipstick in "Bordeaux": It's a gorgeous dark wine color, perfect for the colder months. It's definitely one of those products that scare you at first, even I was and I'm used to bolder colors on my lips. But, when you pair it with a simple eye with winged liner, my gosh is it beautiful.

Rimmel Lipstick in "In Vogue": A hot pink that really just suits what I wanted in a pink color, I really didn't want a really blue based pink, which in my opinion washes me out like no one's business, and this is more red based which kind of pushes it into the berry lip colors.

Wet N' Wild Matte Lipstick in "Cherry Picking": I love matte lip colors, a a red matte lip color is really a staple I think every woman needs in her life. Which don't get me started on my "red lipstick" rant. In fact, I just may make a post about it. But this is one of my all time favorites, I honestly can't tell you how often I wear it.

NYC Bronzer in "Sunny": It is the perfect color for me to contour with, and when I want a little bit of a "tan" it really just warms up my skin tone.

Wet N' Wild Color Icon Blush in "Pearlescent Pink":  This is seriously my new favorite blush! It adds the perfect color to my cheeks, I seriously wear this everyday now, it has the slightest bit of shimmer in it so I normally forgo highlighter now.

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Face Skin Perfecting Primer: This really does make my makeup stay on all day, and  it doesn't make it start to feel oily or anything.

I have seriously been switching these 2 colors out all month.

Wet N' Wild Megalast Nail Polish in "I Red A Good Book": I have affectionately dubbed this "Red Solo Cup" it is almost spot on the same shade of red. I love classic colors on my nails, and this is the most perfect red in my opinion. This entire line of nail polish is good I have three, and really do need to get more.

NYC Long Lasting Nail Polish in "Black Lace": Another classic color I think every woman needs, this one only needs two coats and it's cheap AND it really does last a long time!

So that's it, I hope you found some new products to try out:) Have a great day!
